HAPPY NOVEMBER!

November has arrived. This starts the holiday season for Christian and none Christian alike, each celebrating for their own reasons. It also starts the debate on how store employees should greet customers and what decorations are legal and where they can be shown. Such foolishness! Why don't our lawmakers state the facts? This is America. As Americans, we celebrate as Christians, because that's the way it was when we founded this great country and fought for our freedom. If you have a problem with that, then why are you here? And believe me when I say, "No one's keeping you from leaving."

How many of our American customs are we willing to give up before we realize we're giving away our freedom, one compromise at a time? If your religion means so much to you that you would take away another's right to theirs, then why aren't you in the country that practices your religion? And if you are a non-believer, why do you wish to take away freedoms of others? No one says you have to greet others as I do, decorate and celebrate as I do, or worship as I do.

I don't know who came up with the phrase, "Political correctness", but it's for sure anything that has "politics" attached to it, comes with a lot of red tape, dollar signs, and a whole lot of stupidity.

So, during this holiday season, remember those who fought and those who died for our freedom. Don't be so willing to compromise it for political correctness.

Daylight savings time ends. Don't forget to set your clocks back when you go to  bed on Saturday night.

I never could understand why businesses don't have their employees just come in an hour later during daylight savings time, instead of messing with the clocks.  (See what I mean about politics?)
