New Post

I've had the opportunity to read Gayle Trent's and Amanda Lee's newest books and also, a new book from writer, Richard Bard. I will add reviews for these in the coming days.

You can find one of my short stories in the Random Writings section. I hope that you will read and enjoy it.

Wishing you and yours, good health, much love, and have a very Merry Christmas!

Let me first state that I make no apologies for saying Merry CHRISTmas. Accept it or not, it's your choice.

My December blog  has nothing to do with mystery writing, and I do apologize for that. Right now, my personal life is in such a state of turmoil that I find myself speaking more often to God than to my followers. December always brings out controversy and this year it is particularly disturbing to me.

Again, our freedoms are being challenged. We sit back and complacently accept that our lawmakers are doing what is right and legal for all. We believe that as fellow Americans, our lawmakers recognize the rights our forefathers penned in the founding of our great country. We believe that our elected officials will honor the wishes of the majority, because that is their duty. We believe that those who govern us will honor our fallen military by saying, "We will hold dear, the freedoms you so valiantly died for."

We are putting our belief and trust in the wrong hands. Our country has been sold out and our freedoms are being taken away... no, not taken... we are gradually giving them away, in the name of political correctness.

We must wake up and realize that political correctness is destroying America and our freedoms. Our ancestors came to this country to become Americans, not to set up their own country and laws within America. Why are we allowing our language to be changed, our laws to be twisted, our faith to be attacked, and Christ to be removed from public view?

I am tolerant of your beliefs, but I won't tolerate you taking away mine. If you have a celebration different than mine, or celebrate nothing... I wish you good health, a happy heart, and most of all, I wish you love.

I will return to my regular blog after the New Year.
